Parvatha Varthini

Sambandhar and Appar's song is located in Rameswaram , Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu . It is considered as one of the 12 astrological sites in India. At this place Rama worshiped for the sin of killing Ravana. The name of the founder of this temple is Ramanathaswamy and the name of the Goddess is Parvatha Varthini.

22 Theerthas

It is said that bathing in the Ganges and worshiping Kashi Viswanadha in Kashi, located in North India, leads to salvation. In that way, the Agni Theertha in Rameswaram located in the south and the 22 Theerthas located in the temple are believed to offer moksha by worshiping Ramanatha Swamy.
